Conditions of application:
As part of the enhanced DBS check process the employer is required to check the candidate’s ID documents. We will contact the the employer to verify the candidate’s ID documents. If we are unable to get hold of the employer or the employer does not get back to us within one week we will cancel the application and charge a £12 admin fee. We will send the candidate a secure login to enter all their personal details and the employer/ID verifier login details to verify the candidate’s ID.
Please ensure you are applying for the correct level of check, cancelled applications due to incorrect level of check will incur an administration charge of £12.
Please note that these enhanced disclosure application forms require the correct use of upper and lower-case characters.
The enhanced DBS check is the highest-level disclosure available from the Disclosure and Barring service. Until 2012, it was known as a CRB check.
You can only request this level if the employer is eligible to request a disclosure under the Exceptions Order to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974, and you are caring, training, supervising or working closely with children or vulnerable adults.
Please ensure you are applying for the correct check as once submitted we are unable to make alterations. cancelled applications once set up incur a handling fee of £24.
You can apply for enhanced DBS online using this form if you currently live in England or Wales. The enhanced DBS check is only available to residents of the United Kingdom.
If you do not wish to complete your application online all at one time, you can select ‘Save’ at the end of each section and return to it later. If so, you will be prompted for your email address, where you will be sent a link that allows you to continue at a later time.
Throughout the online application process your details are securely stored. Until you press submit, your personal information cannot be accessed except with the link emailed to you.
