The entire For Employers online DBS check application process is undertaken online, simplifying the submission process and providing timely results via email. Available as part of our full screening programme or as a standalone service, the process could not be easier. 


The For Employers applications process allows employers to submit multiple electronic applications for both DBS certificates and basic DBS checks, receiving the results electronically. Eurocom CI can provide employers, regardless of volume, with a self-administered system incorporating their own secure control panel from where they can add new candidates, monitor the progress of their applications and most importantly, see the results when they arrive.

We’re proud to be able to claim a 99% error free operating system and more importantly, now that physical copies are no longer sent to employers, we use a traffic light system to highlight any issues. We are confident that this system offers employers one of the fastest and simplest criminal record checking services available. Once you press submit your application is automatically uploaded to the DBS check system for processing. Standard DBS checks are normally completed within 48 hours, while over 80% of Enhanced DBS checks are completed within 5 days. Basic DBS checks are currently taking between 5 to 7 days to complete.

The Standard DBS, or Standard Disclosure, check is only available for certain professions. A Standard DBS check shows current and spent convictions, cautions, reprimands and warnings held on the Police National Computer.
